Kauai Dance Theatre

Class Descriptions


Ballet I (age 5-8) and Ballet II (age 8-12)
Ballet barre & center exercises appropriate for the age and ability of the students 


Ballet III/IV/V (age 12 - adult)
Classical barre and center exercises appropriate for students' ability and previous training


Pointe (by placement)
optional extension of ballet study for serious students by invitation

Tap Dance - Beginner* and Intermediate levels
Progressive tap rhythms, steps, and combinations stressing sound and movement quality.  Different styles may be explored.

*age 6 and older for beginner level 

Note: When ages are indicated, they are guidelines only; placement is based upon the best class choice(s) for the individual student.

4:15 - 5:00 PM Tap I/II (waitlist)

5:00 - 6:00 PM Ballet II 


Adult Tap Dance (advanced beginner level) - next session TBD


Class tuition is based on $16 per hour of class.  Private lessons are $65 per hour.


Each class must meet a minimum enrollment to be held and class size will be limited for a better learning experience for students.
